About Me

My photo
A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!

Yesterday's doc appointment was very unproductive.  Other than order a bunch of blood work while I was there yesterday and then ordering the normal CBC tests weekly for the next 7 weeks, nothing was really accomplished.

He feels that we covered all the basis several years ago and doesn't think we will learn anything new.  He will decide in August whether he feels another bone marrow test will be needed (last one was in 2004).

So, on one hand, maybe this is good.  On the other hand, maybe it is not good.

Time will tell....

You should find a new doctor ASAP. There are doctors out there that will listen to their patients and try to find solutions but it appears you have not found that doctor yet.

  2. Oh Cathy, That is so frustrating. I'm sorry you didn't make any progress.

Tests taken several years ago are pretty old in my book so no new tests has me scratching my head.

My advice is to listen to your body. If you feel strongly that the doc is missing something, perhaps a second opinion is in order.

    Hang in there, xo jj
