About Me

My photo
A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!

NUTTIN MUCH!

It seems like we have managed to pack 5 days worth of time into just 2 and we are tired!

Spent some limited time with our families; arriving at noon in Charlotte, Michigan on Monday, then to Athens.  Then to Mendon.  Next day to Colon, visit two sets of relatives there.  Then on down to Shipsee to see another family.

Left this a.m. to drive back to Wixom to pick up our 5th wheel and it was probably 11 a.m. before we finally got on the road to head south (our fault, not General RV's).

We made it as far as Waupakenta, OH.  We decided to stop earlier than we planned because by the time we got thru all the construction in Dayton and got around Cinci to where we thought we'd camp in Ky, it would have been very late and we'd have hit rush home time traffic.

So, we've FINALLY got the 5th wheel de-winterized and sanitized.  As far as I'm concerned, I can go to bed now!  It's 6:20 p.m. and I am T I R E D!!!

More another time!!
