About Me

My photo
A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!

NUTTIN' MUCH

Other than counting the days till we get Gracie (the 5th wheel) out of storage (which is about 60 days in case you are interested) and mowing, and typing, and cleaning and washing, etc (all things associated with running a campground and lodging), there hasn't been a whole lot to talk about!

Have you heard about Yahoo accounts being hacked?  If you have a Yahoo account, you may want to check it out.  I even went thru' the process and changed my log in info even though I only use the Yahoo for my Flick'r pages..

So, I'm going to post a photo here for you and see if you know what kind of an insect it is and what it's claim to fame is (besides looking bad).  I never knew about this bug till today so see, you CAN teach an old gal something new!

Let's see how many guesses we get and I will eventually tell you what it is....
