Early this a.m. we arrived at our local hospital so I could have a couple of "scopes".
I've had a large hiatel hernia for years and lately it has flared up when I do any lifting or push mowing (no I'm not trying to get out of mowing). I've not had the issues that some people have like "back wash", but I know it is there and since it had been bothering me I thought I better get it checked out (before we leave in the fall).
Both scopes checked out fine. The endoscope does show that I have some irritation in my tummy lining and in my esophagus, so gotta get some meds for that. The other was fine soooo, I'M GOOD TILL 2022! That seems a LONG ways off...till you think of THIS procedure, then it seems like it is right around the corner.
When we got home, Dan fixed me a cup of coffee and a couple of scrambled eggs. Tasted so much better than Jell-o, apple juice and tea!!
It looks like it is going to be a cloudy day for most of the day and we have a chance of severe storms later today into this evening. We still need the rain.
If everything goes as planned, our daughter will be here on Wednesday and will stay till Sunday. It is never long enough, but we're glad she is able to make the trip. She needs a break from her life and work...just like most of us do.
So, not much new at this end. I fear I've lost some of my readers over the past couple of months because I'm not seeing nearly the amount of comments that I use to. Where is everyone??!!! Have I gotten boring? I can understand that, our lives are pretty simple! MOST OF THE TIME!
Hope all is well with all of you!!

- A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!
