My Photo
A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We own and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. ROLLIN', ROLLIN' ROLLIN'

My follow up line to Rollin', Rollin' Rollin, is "though my butt is swollen", keep them dawgies rollin, rawhide!

Anyway, I'm glad that this wasn't a paid job for taking photos because they did NOT turn out!  How embarrassing!  I kind of thought I'd have issues, but didn't know they'd be THIS bad.

The arena is huge.  It isn't an enclosed arena so no matter where I went to get photos, I had all the glare from the sun/sky.

This wasn't really a contest but more of a "contest practice" but it was great to be around horses for a while.  I did have to laugh though when one of the "cowboys" had let his little "dawgie" (calf) go, was wrapping up his lariat and talking on his cell phone at the same time.  HA!

This group is for anyone age 8-80 and there were some oldies in the group!
