About Me

My photo
A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!

I know I said I'd be MIA for a while, but right now things are at a stand still till I find out if I can use my existing merchant account that I have for our Clementz's Northcountry Campground and Cabins

So until I can get that figured out (waiting on my sales rep for my existing merchant account) I'm kind of stuck.

But in the meantime, the hummers have been totally entertaining us and our guests.  They have been very busy and very photogenic!  This is a combo of several shots that I took a couple of nights ago.  Can you figure out how many hummers I put in this collage of hummers??

how many hummers do you see

  1. I think I'm seeing 19 hummingbirds but I'm probably not seeing enough. Very interesting picture. Thanks for posting it.

I think the picture at the top is of the Grand Canyon.

  3. Brenda, thanks! I'm so much enjoying my new venture!! I just hope it pays off!

Charlotte, good guess and since you have been the only one that has guessed, I'll just spill the beans...it is called the Grand Escalante and it is in Utah. There is much more to it than just this photo.
