About Me

My photo
A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!

GOING MIA FOR A WHILE

I've got to devote some time to getting my new website set up for e-commerce and I've got a lot to figure out.  So, I may be MIA for a while as far as posting to Yarns, but check back...on the other hand I may be frustrated enough that I HAVE to post!  HA!

I took my camera with me this a.m. on my bathhouse check.  It was already a bit foggy and the sun was just starting to rise above the trees.  By the time I was done in the bathhouse (you'll see why it took me a bit longer in a moment) and walked around the tent site road, the sun was covered in clouds.  So the only thing I took pix of was what almost prevented me from going INTO the women's room...

ENJOY!!!

IT SHIVERS MY TIMBERS!!!

  2. Gary, Gives me the freaking creeps just looking at it! But I've been playing around with it and have posted some other shots of it on my new website. Under the insect category and under the b & w category...if you are interested.
