About Me

My photo
A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!

LOOKS LIKE WE MADE IT

We're home but seeing the Mighty Mac wasn't the emotional experience for me that it has always been in the past.  I always get tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat.  While I still think it is one of the most beautiful sites I've seen, I guess I just wasn't ready to come back home.

But, we safely made it back about 3 p.m. Sunday and we've been going non stop since (except for about 6 hours of sleep in our own bed!).  So much to do and "get put back together".

Tonight we will go to our friend's house (they let me store my desktop and some other valuable office stuff there this winter) to pick up all those things that we stored....and to meet their new Australian Shepherd puppy, Bella.

Then tomorrow, I have to remember where all those darn wires and cables go and get the desktop hooked up, get all the updates, etc and be ready for all those reservations!!!

Catch up with you all later!
