About Me

My photo
A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!

  1. Gary / Battle Creek10:21 AM

The song is a Beatles tune written by Paul McCartney. Very nice pic too.

  2. Gary, VERY GOOD!!!! You win a pat on the back and an 'atta boy'!! Thanks for the compliment on the photo. It was GORGEOUS this morning!!

  3. That is an awesome photo! And the song goes with it perfectly.
    Hope your weekend is great.

  4. Joanna, thanks! You have a great weekend too!!!

  5. Ashley, thanks!!! I wish I could've "shot" the moon last night; it was an orange ball when it first came up!

  6. AWESOME photo...love it!
Yes I love this time of year, but I do have a tinge of dread of the season which follows beautiful autumn.
We have had warm, warm weather here with sunshine for 10+ days straight. I am wayyyyyy behind in reading blogs and writing posts, but I simply cannot stay indoors when it is like this. We have been living in the boat on the lake everyday. Loving it!
