Math was my worst subject (I think English held a close 2nd). I didn't have to take math beyond the 8th grade and guess what?? I DIDN'T.
BUT, even I can see the difference in how many visitors to my blog each day (about 250-300, sometimes less) and HOW MANY FOLLOWERS I HAVE...a woeful 21 or maybe 22??
But after doing a bit of research, even I see that Google doesn't make it as easy as it use to be to admit you are a follower! You use to be able to be anonymous, but I don't see that option any more. If I am missing that option, will someone please point it out to me???
As I see it, one has to create an identity via Google or some other "thing". If I weren't already a blogger with Google, I don't know if I would go through creating that identity to become a follower of someone's blog.
I've searched the help topics, I've looked for other gadgets and widgets but I can't find anything that allows an anonymous follower anymore.
But on the other hand, it is very simple to set that all up and become a follower so you show up on my follower's list instead of just being a number on my visitors information. I CAN go into my statcounter account and get all kinds of info but I would really like to see you become a public follower instead of being lumped in with the numbers.
I'm still trying to figure out what happened to being anonymous!!

Just trying to publish an anonymous comment!
From Anne H
Anne H...people can publish and anonymous comment, but I'm concered people aren't signing up as followers (see right hand margin for that) because now it appears you have to create an identity even to remain anonymous. but thanks for the test post!!
I'm not a math person either. Thank gawd for calculators :-)
I'm still trying to figure all the Blogger/Google/Blogging stuff out. It's a mystery to me most of the time.
