We also had gorgeous clouds on our way back from Amarillo yesterday. Wonderful skies!
Wonderful shot!!
I always love clouds...even the big angry ones before a storm.
Lately, we have seen more things in the big cumulus {spelling?} ones...like dragons, and dogs, etc.
Guess in retirement, we are becoming kids again. ha
Tom and Sandy...the sky seems so much bigger "out west".
Retired One...thanks. My Dad and I use to watch clouds as storms approached. I bet as a kid you use to lay out on a blanket or in the grass and look at clouds to see what you could see in them, right??
Enjoy seeing that blue sky while you can because around here it looks like gray cloudy days and rain ahead.
That is a really neat picture you shot!
DVM's wife...and this will must make the mosquitoes so much worse!!! We had HOPED to get caught up on the mowing before the mad rush for the 4th, but don't see that happening till at least Wednesday! The buckhorn grows like crazy now!
Beautiful! Don't you just love what it looks like in the early morning. There is nothing better than getting up early and watching the sun rise on the back deck with a cup of coffee.
P.S. That field of poppies were just a few miles from our house. I dicovered it one day when I left for lunch. I knew right then and there I would be coming back with my camera. I know you can relate ;)
Ashley, we sound a lot a like. If it weren't for the mosquitoes (and this a.m. just being plain cold!!) I like to sit on the deck in the early a.m. with my coffee and listen to morning starting.
Yep, I can relate to your field of poppies!
There is an artist names Luc Lestemaker that paints skies like this. This photo could easily be an inspiration for him. BEAUTIFUL
Joanna, Do you know if he has a website? I feel a search coming on!
Thanks!
