About Me

My photo
A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!

THE MAJESTIC EAGLE AND HIS FROZEN PREY

I'm trying something new and if this works, you will see that the title of this "video" is NOT correct, but I can't figure out how to change that part! I don't mean the title of the post, but the title across the "video".

I'm clicking on the PUBLISH POST button and my fingers are crossed!

  1. Wow! Lucky you to have caught those pictures! Where did you see this? Those are great.
What photo program did you use?

  2. Great photos! Did you take them? The captions didn't show up on all the pictures but I got the gist of the story.

  3. DVM's Wife, I felt extremely lucky and excited and a lot of other emotions! I wanted to get out of the truck to get closer, but was afraid he would leave and I'd get nothing.

I always use Picasa for my photos. I have photo shop on my other computer, but to be truthful, I try to not "enhance" my photos much and even armed with two books, I didn't get very good with photoshop.

  4. SBW, yes I took the photos. And I forgot to answer a question in DVM's Wifes comment...they were taken along U.S. 2. Fortunately, there happened to be a place we could pull off the road without getting rear ended.

I wish the captions were more easily read, but I'm learning how to put this all together and there must be a way to "colorize" the captions so they show up better.

    Thanks!!
