For you sledheads that follow Yooper Yarns, a follow up to the previous post....
Dan and Jerry are on their way by truck to try to get the track put back on the groomer. After some more radio communications with the operator it was decided that he wasn't stuck to the point of not getting out under his own power once the track and boggie wheel are taken care of.
Jerry and Dan loaded up Jerry's truck with an impact wrench, generator, grease guns, heavy equipment jacks, one of the new chains that was given to TASA by the 3 Nuts from Ohio and I don't know what all else. They are hoping it is a quick fix (by that I mean a 2-3 hour job instead of a 5-6 hour job).
So, as long as I'm still up and I talked with Prez Bob about trail conditions, I'm off to do those reports! Thanks again for your support and understanding!
- Cathy Clementz
- A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!
