Dan and I are still discovering “things” about this new truck and these are “things” that make us feel like idiots.
Case in point….
Dan was reading the 5 pound owners manual on how to unlock the rear sliding window (it is a power window once it is unlocked), so I got in the back seat of the truck and tried to unlock it. We decided that we didn’t need it unlocked right now. While I was back there, Dan was still standing outside of the drivers side, kind of leaning into the driver’s seat and reading the manual. He was immersed in the manual while I was discovering new places to “put things”…I found a niche I didn’t know existed!
At the exact same time I opened this little alcove, the driver’s seat miraculously started moving backwards…with Dan still leaning on it and trying to read. He said “What the heck did you do now?” I responded that I hadn’t done anything except open a little cubby hole that I didn’t know was there. “Well, shut it.” I guess he truly thought if I shut it the seat would go back to its original position. Dan carries his weight in front of him, right where he can see it…and where it can come in contact with the power seat controls if you happen to be standing OUTSIDE and leaning in.
HOPEFULLY WE’LL HAVE THIS FIGURED OUT IN 31 MORE DAYS!!!
- Cathy Clementz
- A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!
