About Me

My photo
A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!

HIGHLIGHTS

Are certain words in my previous post appearing "highlighted" in a different color, or is it just on MY computer??? I don't know what is up with that if it is going on on yours too! IGNORE IT.

  2. Thanks, Jerry.

I think this has something to do with spell checker, but I did not ASK it to spell check.

I notice it in "stories" even further back too. Hmmm...maybe Google is up to something new. If it IS something new, I don't like it any better than not feeding the birds!

  3. I think it is spellcheck as well. For my blog, if you don't click on "done spellchecking" it will show highlighted words when you post. Maybe try editing the post, hit spellcheck, then click on "done spellchecking" to see if that takes away the highlighting?

  4. Theresa, strange that it just started doing this. Maybe Google has a glitch. Sometimes when I go to log in I get an error message from Google telling my browser is not set to accept cookies (and it is!) so I try again and it goes through fine. A quirk I guess.
