There has been no update since yesterday! I say that with a big smile on my face because we KNOW that is very good news! If I get anything later today, you know I'll be back to share it with ya!
HOPE ALL THE CREWS ARE MAKING IT HOME SAFELY! I'm thinking the Missouri crew should make it home sometime today! They were able to do a bit of sight seeing yesterday...hey, you guys, I bet you think I didn't know that? Nothing is safe around here! I know that big old bus was at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and at the Falls! One of our campers told us they had seen you there but hadn't realized that you were the crew I'd been telling them about. I wish you could have seen the Tahquamenon Falls in "all it's glory" when there is a TON of water coming over it. In the spring, after a heavy winter, the water rushes over the falls so fast and furious that you can actually feel the ground shake in the parking lot! So you HAVE to come back to see it when the water levels are normal again!
- Cathy Clementz
- A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!
