As you know this is my favorite time of year and "Feeling Groovy" is the only phrase that comes to mind to explain it!
(The photos don't do the scenery justice. If I could post them individually and you could enlarge them, it would be better.)
Dan and I took a “ride” yesterday so I could get some fall color photos for the fall color report. He asked me if I would like to go on the Bermer Rd (or some people call it Brimer, so I’m not sure what the heck it is) which is part of the # 9 snowmobile trail. I had no idea you could get rug burn from an arm rest. I also had no idea you could get sea sick on dry land. When we started out on this “road”, I was feeling hungry but by the time we got to the end of this “road” I felt like I could use a barf bag. We didn’t actually take it the whole length; just about 10 or 12 miles (which seemed more like 30 or 40 miles). It’s too bad that we can’t get the County to grade that road because it does take a LOT of snow to fill in some of those big dips!
There isn’t much color IN the woods, but along the roadsides you are seeing a LOT more color than even 3 days ago! It is coming on fast now. The photo I have put up here doesn’t do some of the colors and scenery justice. The sun didn’t come out UNTIL we got back home!
