Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. It was pretty uneventful for us, which I guess is a good thing, right?
Just wanted to post a note and let you know that I might not be online much the next couple of days. Dan is still recovering from his knee replacement of almost 2 weeks ago and his IN HOME PT begins today, as well as having a visit from the home health nurse to get some lab work, etc. The days have been nice enough that he has been able to take some short walks around our campground (and of course, he is finding all kinds of things that "You need to get this done" before we open mid May.) I am trying to get things done outside, but I don't like to leave him alone, unattended too long yet. At least that is the excuse I am using for not going out and picking up sticks!
His 40 staples are to be removed on Wednesday and after that is done THEN I can take him to PT at Helen Newberry Joy hospital. It will do him good to get out of here for a couple of hours...even if it IS for PT!
So, more on how all of this goes at a later time, but just wanted my readers to know I haven't jumped ship! Just have important things to tend to the next couple of days...NOT THAT THIS ISN'T IMPORTANT! But you know what I mean!
Catch ya later!
- Cathy Clementz
- A long time ago, I was a child. (I started out as Cathy First from Colon, Mi.) For the past several years I’ve been an adult. A lot of things went on between those two stages of life; probably no more or no less than anyone elses. My husband and I moved to “da U .P” from southern Lower Michigan several years ago (yes we were trolls at one time). We owned and operated and operate Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins just north of Newberry, Michigan until May 2015. We have grown kids and grandkids (who all live downstate). My passion is life and all that Nature has to offer us and trying to photograph it in unique ways. Our intention in life is to see all that Nature has to offer us. We hope that you will be a part of our adventures as we cruise through our lives together. Come back often!
